Re: RR's 3.2L '99 EX-L Coupe 6MT

Need new lugs for the wheels, which are gold. Picking between these since they are steel...thoughts? I really like the burning blue, but not sure if they'll look out of place. And I like the neo-chrome, but they seem to look pink/purple/greenish blue more than they do gold. Leaning toward titanium...

Have you figured out/dealt with the trunk springs yet? Are they flinging the lid open or making it hard to close? Do you plan on re-adjusting them?

And what's the skinny on GC? Any word on whether or not they can get eibach-esque rates?

My dad actually noticed, you use the same spring, but you just mount it differently. There are different hook points for the spring and you have to move it to one or the other to decrease tension. I have yet to do it, but actually the lid doesn't open that harshly. It bounces lightly once or twice when it gets up but that's it.

I think I am going with 10k/8k for the GC's. They will be stiffer than the the Sportlines obviously, but I am hoping I can dial down the dampening to soften the ride up a bit.

I'm curious to hear your review on the GC's when the time comes.

As I said before, I was going 12/10, but with some adjustments, I am hoping the ride quality isn't too crazy.

^that will definitely be noticeably firmer than what you have now. But it all depends on how much the dampening adjustability of the Yellows plays into it.

Burning blue with gold. Then imagine a red fender around that. Ehhhh...just not sure that will work. I just love the color lol.

I wish there was some type of way to test the different rates to get an idea of what would work best.

I like the blue(I have blue lugs as well to put on, so I'm biased), but I don't think it will work with your new look.

Why not photoshop it in to see how it would look?

I think the titanium lugs would look best.

I know the springs are movable and adjustable, I was just curious if you've noticed a difference in opening and closing. IIRC, you need a special tool to move/adjust the springs.
