Glad your ok man I hope you keep your ride, hard to tell in the pics but the damage don't look bad enough unless I'm missing something under the hood or frame but I hope you keep the ride bro good luck.

Steve, thanks for the call and sorry to see your car in that condition. Good things is you're ok. IMO it's definitely repairable. All you need to do is find an OE fender, bumper and minor cosmetic parts I'm sure you can come up on right away. As long as the engine bay has no major damage you're in good shape. I can still see were the frame is in tact and the fender & lamp went over the reinforcement. It may need a bit of a pull but trust me, I've seen worse fixed and not noticeable. Start hunting for parts and leave the frame & body to my guy, he'll do a good job. You might as well get it painted now. If you're getting some $$$ for this I would fix it and move on. Even if it's gotta come out of pocket, you have too much invested in the car to let it go so easily. FIX IT! My .02 cents.

Ken, okay so like the CHP said that it'll take TWO freaking weeks for the report to be available.. so wtf do I do? Just leave my car just chilling on the street for two weeks? I figure I can't even call the other insurance company or anything for two weeks.. I'm really pissed off at the whole CHP report business..

I don't want to bring the car in and just have it sit at your shop for two weeks or three at most.. I know your shop gets busy and crap.

Two weeks for a CHP report? I'd start having the damage assessed ASAP so you're ready worse case but do call and bug their insurance company about the incident, tell em' you need a car ASAP and you need to have them come out and start their estimate since you're not the party at fault. Call up CHP and tell them you need a report ASAP and you'll come down and pick it up in person. Be sure to show urgency in the matter so everyone doesn't sit on their butt and do nothing. I'll show the picture to my body guy, if you can take some of the hood open that would be great to better see the damage.
