Ok, i didn't use the shoutbox so i didn't see the "magical" benifits of it. I would donate for the site, but i kind of feel iffy on the idea if it's mostly for that. It's not because i don't use it, it's more the idea of paying for something for other people that i don't see necessary.
I don't get why it has to be on the site though. It seems so easy to get a free alternative. I have a much smaller forum but so far, this has proven to be reliable- http://xat.com It is customizable for the user, and the forum (you can make graphics), it's FREE, it's worked in my experience, plus, you don't need a "real" membership, it's like a 30 second sign up and you are done, not like aim or other services.
