that one looks decent. but to me, i rather hide my AUX cables behind something for a cleaner look.

I'd have it for my iPod, and it's super easy for me just to have it hooked up in the front, so not a big deal.
If Best Buy does my wiring for the subs, would I go ahead and install the HU if I bought it? I don't want to get charged for putting that in when I can do that myself.

if you can remove the center dash out of your Accord, which is just 2 screws and slight pull, then you can definitely wire the headunit.

for subwoofer installation, it's also easy. the hard part is hiding the wires. that's it! i guaranteed that it's best to install them yourself just so you know if something happens, you could fix it right away. and also you can save up that extra money on wiring kit or even extra grounding wires for your motor.

I don't really understand the preamp outputs so do they both have what I need to hook up two 12"s?

the newer headunits should come with pre-outputs. so yes, it would go through the amp and into the subwoofer.

the Kenwood definitely looks a lot better IMO, and Clarion decks tend to have a bigger learning curve for getting used to the buttons and changing settings, but the kenwood only does 2 watts rms more per channel which you'll never notice and the Clarion has a USB input which I haven't had but imagine would be eternally useful (load music on a flash drive or something).

Best Buy sometimes runs promotions for free installation on HU's, but not very frequently except for the holidays, and usually not on the cheaper Head Units. I say install it yourself, even if you have no idea what you're doing it won't take you more than a few hours.

Not worried about installing the HU, if I get it, I'll order from Crutchfield and do it myself.
Only thing I would get Best Buy to do is the wiring for the subs.
Thanks for your input on the headunits, Clarion would probably be the better choice then, with the USB and all.

Wildman I'm taking your advice and looking at 4 guage wiring. On crutchfield, they have kits for one amp.
Would this:
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_211PSKA4R/StreetWires-Power-Stream-PSKA4R.html?tp=2919
be what I need? It handles up to 400watts, and the amp 98AccordExwv has for me is 400watt.

To make sure I'm getting this, this kit will have the ground and power wires to go from my HU to my Amp. So, I am going to need more wiring from my amp to my subs right? Can someone point me in the right direction, on crutchfield, because I would rather make a bulk order of the HU and wiring from there instead of getting wiring at Best Buy.

for amp kits you'd also need a set of RCA cables. doesn't look like the one you linked included a set, this one from Crutchfield does have everything you'd need however. The other kits on Crutchfield that include RCA's are around $110, or you can buy RCA's seperately for probably $20-30.

also found these two on sonicelectronix
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_1712_Phoenix+Gold+AKIT42.html $45
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_7228_e2+E1000+by+Scosche.html $48

I'd probably go with the PG one just because I have the same style of fuse block and haven't had any issues with mine over the years. Some crack easier then others. What I will say though is the RCA cables look a bit thin, so make sure you run them down the opposite side of your car as you do the power wires to avoid any noise issues.
