I was just wondering if anyone has secured their sub box in their trunk. I had it bolted down to the wood floor cover but I got the factory rubber floor mat so id rather not put any holes in it. Any ideas?

I was thinking about putting maybe a strap down the side of the box pulling it towards the front of the car? one on either side. Anyone done anything like this?

When I do spare tire well enclosures I usually bolt it down to where the spare used to be secured. Simple, effective and doesn't add any holes!

If you choose to strap it forward just be careful since you will be attaching hardware to sheet metal above the gas tank.

It's hard to explain. But when I had my subwoofers I used a large door hinge. Screwed one side to the box. And the other to the frame.

The part that I screwed to the frame came from under the wooden mat and up to the box. So that I didnt have to cut anything.

Idk if you understood any of that......but there you go. lol.

Custom brackets that mount to the 'roof' of the trunk under the rear dash?

I can show you a picture of mine when i get off work. Im using a ratchet strap and it goes over the box and fastens to these littles screw thingys that fasten to the floor of the trunk. Worked good since i got it in may. Hasnt shifted once.
