I'm on H&R sports right now on stock shocks and I still scrape my header's downpipe and the lower tie bar I put on sometimes. at 3.5in I wouldn't be able to pull in my driveway and its not even steep.

Yes, it will stress pretty much everything. You loose travel, which equals a harsher ride. A harsher ride equals more wear for every mile. So things like bushings will go bad. Even ones that don't have suspension movement like subframe bushings. But things like control arm bushings will now have all the movement happen more quickly as suspension travel has changed. And anything related to geometry will have the toughest time. So tie rods, ball joints, etc. Even steering racks seem to go more quickly. And shocks will go more quickly as well.

Now the key is, they will go more quickly. These are all wearing parts anyway. They are going to loosen up on a high mileage car as well. So it's just going to happen more quickly, but it will happen to any car. Now you could go with urathane bushings and realistically never have to deal with bushings again but it's time consuming, expensive if you don't do it yourself, and has a harsh ride, squeaks, etc.

I've slowly gone up with my drops. I find the difference between having your car dropped and having your car slammed is a big one. And a minimal drop like prokits really doesn't have any of the problems a lowered car would typically have.

yeah, but you have 15's (?) on there.... that would kill the ride if you had 18's and a decent tire size. I think it looks f*ckin' cool...... but I couldn't deal with all the scraping.... and speed bumps.:)

Finding the OEM lip kit took me forever, and I know I'll never be able to find another front lip if I destroy this one. :p

If you want to mod your car, be prepared to pay the maintenance bills. Slamming your car wears out your suspension parts faster, so expect to replace them more often than a stock accord. There are shocks with lifetime warranties, camber kits, adjustable ball joints, and other parts that can help you save some of that $$, but it's still never going to be cheap. If that's fine with you, then welcome & enjoy modding the accord.

of course the parts are gonna wear out...that why they make spares...even if you never drop your car you will have to change the parts eventually maybe not as often but they will have to be changed
