This looks very interesting. I can't wait to see how this turns out.

And btw, you can just take the amber strip out if you can't find a clear one, and just have no strip. But a clear one would probably look a lot cleaner, though.
Yeah I considered that, but I want to avoid it if I can. I have two sets of headlights right now so I can be patient on that clear headlight strip

Has anyone done a black chrome reflector bucket on their black housed headlights? I think it could look good, but I'm not sure how high beam output would be affected.

I have Duplicolor shadow paint that I've been wanting to try. It's basically black tint for chrome.

not really. i know brad has a quad projector retro to put on his coupe, whenever its finished haha. but i dont think anyones done it before. the high beam area is pretty small, so its hard to put one in there.

Hmm.. I'm trying to find a way to paint my mini gatling shroud black without it looking out of place. The chrome shroud I got does not have a very good finish so I wanted to sand it down so all the imperfections are gone and paint it flat black. That's why I was asking about the reflectors. I think it would look weird to paint the low beam reflector black and have the only chrome left on the high beam

I swear I saw somebody in the member's rides with the reflector bucket painted black for the low beam behind the projector, and the high beam and blinker buckets were left stock. Hold on maybe i can find it.

EDIT: Okay it's Raul's coupe. I'm not 100% positive that it is painted black, but it looks like it. and from this pic, it looks like it WOULD look sick if it was painted black, if his isn't already. (click on the pic for his ride thread)

Yeah it looks pretty clean. Do you know his user name so I can contact him?
