That's weird.
Let me know what they look like, because I've only had 4300 and 5000 hids personally, and even the 5000 had a slight tint of blue to it.

I just checked and it actually looks like a hyper white (very, very slight blue). I haven't driven it in over a month, all of a sudden only one headlight comes on, FML.

Here's a current update of my retrofit portion of my mod.

My only mistake:

It's not a big deal because it won't be visible once the headlight is together, but for those of you who are planning on doing the retrofit, I recommend sanding from the back of the shroud rather than perpendicular to the base.

This is why I'm considering painting the shrouds black. But I'm not sure if they will look weird with chrome reflectors.

Let me know what you guys think I should do about the shroud.

Which switchback LEDs do you guys think I should use in place of my turn signal bulb? There are two types amber/off and amber/white. The types describe the behavior of the switchback when the turn signal is initiated. Both switchbacks will be white when no turn signal is present. But once on the amber/off type will switch from amber to off when the blinker is active; the amber/white type will switch from amber to white. I am leaning toward the amber/off style.

Just buy 4300, or 5000k bulbs from a GOOD brand name. No egay crap. And the color should be good. 6000 if you like a blueish tint, but that's where

I have 6000k on my 240sx. I haven't stood in front of it with the HID's on in a while but if I remember right they look white, no tint of blue whatsoever. I could be wrong though I'll check when it gets a little darker.

I have 6ks on my car and there is no blue tint, pure white, and I have awesome light output. I bought vvme hids, recommended by a friend, they were cheap and seem good so far.
