The only thing I suggest is 6000K HID's rather than 8000K. In my opinion the light output on 8000K sucks and the blue'ish look is pretty lame nowadays.

I'm not sure about those color temp numbers because it seems like the companies all have a different scale. The DDM Tuning 8000K hids don't look very blue at all to me. Its's more white with a hint of blue. I personally don't consider it a ricey blue which I hate.

Here's some examples of a A4 I just worked on:

do you actually believe those photoshopped 'scales' that hid kit/bulb companies put out?

6000k bulbs look like 6000k, 8000k look like 8000k and so on. ive never experienced a difference in bulb color from the same temp rated bulb from different companies.

I never look at the scales. But I've gotten ****ed over by the numbers before. I got 6000K bulbs that were more like what a 10,000K should look like. It was like driving blind.

Just buy 4300, or 5000k bulbs from a GOOD brand name. No egay crap. And the color should be good. 6000 if you like a blueish tint, but that's where you start loosing visibility.

I have 6000k on my 240sx. I haven't stood in front of it with the HID's on in a while but if I remember right they look white, no tint of blue whatsoever. I could be wrong though I'll check when it gets a little darker.
