hopefully i dont get into it but thanks for the tip! now back to my main problems i gotta get some hands on time for that screen in the VTEC solenoid

The gaskets are cheap from the dealer, I just replaced both of mine due to a leak. The solenoid to head gasket has the screen in it and the upper one isn't listed for our generation but the 94-97 gasket works. The OEM part number is 36172-P0A-005. If I had to do it over I would replace the upper gasket first since it's the easiest. The other gasket isn't hard but you need to drain the coolant and unbolt the thermostat housing to get all three bolts out without rounding them off.

getting to the vtec solenoid sucks.Took me all day to get 3 damn bolts off! because honda designed the cast mold horrible..Ended up having to take off my rear water hose/thermostat to get semi access to it.

really? damn that sucks, i havent had a chance to get some hands on time on it but once i will ill probably see how bad of a problem it is.
