But the swap redryder did is way outta my budget, maybe in the future. And thanks, i already have a seller thats willing to sell me everything i need for a real low price. And its all oem parts. The dude has a crash 2000 coupe that he wont sell as a whole. Guess he wants to make more money parting it out

All depends on where you get your parts. I'm in the middle of mine, and its not breaking the bank too much. Also, sorry to hear about your luck

Why would you need full insurance?? I don't have it on my 98 Accord-- liability only. Do you even know what LIABILITY is??? It's way cheaper than full comprehensive and it would have covered you in this situation. But...you're a complete idiot, so I guess you wouldn't have any clue.

Oh and to all those who are trying to make excuses for his wheels locking up, the ONLY reason your wheels lock up and you smash into someone from behind are a) you're following too close and the car in front of you slams their brakes on OR b) you approach a stopped vehicle at way too fast a speed. Were you looking down adjusting your subwoofer volume?? You seem the type, you know young and dumb. Which also explains why you think you can fix this wreck and are going to pour tons of cash at it which means you obviously HAD the opportunity to buy insurance (even though you clearly don't know how it works, which makes me wonder if you've EVER had it.)
I'm not trolling for attention. I could give a **** if any of you responded, but you damn well better start learning priorities in your miserable lives. It leads to opportunity later on like being able to walk into a real Honda dealership and buy a 2007 accord V6 sedan with 6 speed manual like I did, instead of slamming into people and making excuses. How many of you are Mexican??

LOL dude, if it helps you shut up. Ill admit youre right, im wrong, im sorry hahaha. Theres really no point in arguing with someone i dont know, let alone on the internet. Nobody wins, we all just look like idiots in the end haha. But just to answer your questions, no i was not adjusting my "subwoofer", im not a fan of the "THUMP". Liabilty only covered the other car for my old insurance company which was allstate. Maybe I shouldve kept it longer because of this case, but who wouldve seen this coming. And for $85-90/month, I was better off finding another company that would charge me the same for full coverage.

All depends on where you get your parts. I'm in the middle of mine, and its not breaking the bank too much. Also, sorry to hear about your luck

Oh really? sounds like a plan for the far future haha and thanks, but i can get thru this.

What makes you think it's OK to not have insurance?

Answer this please.

I don't disagree with sb001, I think it's a good thing to not condone driving without insurance. DBO, sb is right about liability, you should have it. But, I don't know your life, and I realize things happen and people make mistakes. I would argue that sb's delivery wasn't really respectful. I didn't really think it was necessary to bring it up because I'm sure DBO knows it's not good. So I just jumped straight into fixing the problem. Sb, if you really wanted to be respectful and help you should've sent DBO a pm or at least have been more respectful when posting publicly.
However, sb I'm kind of glad you brought it up because again, it's really not good to condone driving without insurance.
DBO, you should definitely look into getting the car insured with liability before going to court. I'm going to talk with my mom who was an insurance agent for many years and pick her brain and get her advice.
It's good to hear one another out and it's important at the same time to be respectful of one another. Everyone makes mistakes. Constructive criticism will go further than attacking someone based on what they look like or other personal attacks.

I never once mention its okay to not have insurance. Now youre being delusional, i already admitted that i fawked up. You just kept going and going to prove a non valid point. Only reason why everyone else is goin against you on this thread is because you came at me foul in the first place. You couldve easily asked how fast i was going or how come you didnt have insurance? But instead you went on to say i deserve this and that, like i intentionally wanted to hurt another human being.

Yea, honestly, if he came at me like how youre doing it, there wouldve been no bickering with eachother. Like i said before, i know i made the mistake of driving with no insurance. I clearly owned up to my mistakes when i called the cops on myself. If i wanted to break the law, i couldve easily called triple a tow and towed my car home since it was a block away. And they got there faster than the cops did. But no, i stayed there and did what i knew was right.

Were not even aloud to park a car on the street without insurance here let alone drive. For a new driver in BC its about 150 to 200 per month for insurance.

Yeah but here's the thing: if you HADN'T had the accident, and hadn't had a cop tell you to get insurance before your court date, you STILL would be WILLFULLY driving around with no insurance. How do I know that?? Because despite what you claim, you clearly HAVE the money to get insurance. you simply chose not to. And how do I know THAT? Because you have stated on a few occasions in this thread, that you are going to get the car fixed, taking it to a shop, etc etc, which takes A LOT OF MONEY. How may I ask were you planning on doing this, if you couldn't afford simple liability insurance as you claim?
You know what your problem is? You want everyone to think of you as the victim in all this. "Oh I can't afford car insurance, oh look what I did to my car please tell me how to fix it," blah blah without ANYONE calling you out on not having insurance and/ or driving badly. And that's why I'm pissed at everyone else on here, because they fell for your victim act. I mean when you first posted "I don't have insurance" that's EXACTLY how you said it--almost like a throwaway comment!! It's NOT a throwaway comment--it's IMPORTANT!! Yet I was the FIRST ONE to ask why you didn't have insurance in this thread, after at least 20 other posts feeling sorry for you or offering advice on how to fix your car! Not until f23 came along 4 pages later did I have anyone actually AGREEING with me- everyone else was too busy telling me to mind my own business!! And THAT'S what's wrong with your little circle of friends on here like rawcarnage and caliaccord- not ONE of them decided to ask the tough questions, cause they're too busy wanting to be friended on here instead of placing the blame where it lies. It makes me sick.

SB you need to relax before you have an aneurysm. The guy is at fault for not having insurance. Driving w/o insurance is a crime you're deeply passionate about. Cool, now move on to the next thread. I think we need to close this thread down though. Lol

Haha bro, you make it seem like ima fix it right away. I obviously dont have money for that. The only reason why i mention the cop telling me to get insurance is because i asked him if its going to be a fat ticket. And he told me itll be cheaper when i show proof of insurance. I was in the market for insurance before the accident. Who are you to say that i was planning to go forever without it? I dont know you and you dont know me, so honestly whatever you say doesnt really affect. Were all entitled to our own opinion, thats why i dont care about what youre saying. Yea, youre right, its my fault for driving with no insurance, yea thats not safe. But like i said, if you came at me in a civil way, this wouldve never got blown out of proportion. Who knows, cali and raw couldve been on your side, theyre not backing me up because i drove without insurance. Theyre just against you because of the way youre coming at people
