i spoke with him on wednesday and he said the car was finished christmas eve. i just need to go pick it up, but he never notified me until after i blocked my number and called him. why would my car be done for a whole week and just sitting at the shop, does he not want the rest of his money? and even if its not done why couldnt he say he needed more time. it sounds really shady to me.

I understand how you feel man. But don't trip. If some of the guys on here like RJ are telling you he does good work and the guy above me is reassuring you he's a good guy, then you got nothing to worry about. These swaps take time. Remember man, your not the only guy with your car in his shop. I just finished my 5spd swap and that took me a month! But I went a different route then anyone else here on the forum. Relax bro. Wait until Monday and enjoy the new year! Don't get the 5-O involved.

Yo he should tell you that he needs more time or what not.My swap took like 5 weeks. But u have to do alot of work and theres other side jobs and litle things mechanics do to make a quick buck. Its not cool in a way cause you want your car.I was laggin on some parts cause my block was missing some stuff. But its all worth it now,i have an h22 98 trans and S.i.R h23a blue top.Definitly worth the wait.4AE did me and my girlfriend conversions and im gonna have them do all my work.Chu at 4AE did my girls RSX 6spd conversion in like 3 days.He has good rep for work and prices.Ya like redlinevtec says dont get the cops involved, just have some patience and then see whats up!Good luck!

Alright, I've been in contact with him and its been over a month past the time he said it'd be done. I've made 5 appointments with him to bring the car to me and he's flaked on every one of them. I had a friend take me all the way out there to the shop during his business hours yet the shop was still closed. I've honestly ran out of solutions. For a car that he said was "done" on dec. 24.. it is now jan 14 and he still has not delivered. i gave him the car on dec. 8th and he said it would be done by dec. 17. everytime i call him he gives me the run around. He was supposed to bring the car tonight at 9pm and its now 12am. He's leaving me no choice but to get the police involved, this is ridiculous.
I dont mind if its going to take a long time for the swap to be completed, but do not waste my time waiting on you to come through promising its completed and not showing up. Thats just bad business.

jan 23. made 2 more appointments that he's flaked out on. If anyone knows him personally, I suggest you let him know that I will be taking legal action soon if he does not return my car to me since he will not return my phone calls, voicemails or text messages.
