Wow Nick that's so sick!

Burke Mt. is like 15 minutes away from my family's lakehouse too.....

I just have such an itch to start racing. Somehow. Some way.

Once your car is out of sight, it starts sounding like someone tootin on a tuba :lawl:

I know. I miss my stock exhaust. I hate the way the car sounds now. It was so much better driving it on the street with the stock exhaust, but it was 25whp down with that setup too. So there is some give and take there.

Poorly. But in my defense I was going up against cars like a GTR, 500whp STi's, BMW M3's, and some other purpose built hillclimb cars. I did not come in last place however. There were about 36 cars there, I think I ended up in the mid 20s somewhere.

I had never been to that mountain before, but in the morning we all do what is called a "Fam run," which is kind of a very, very fast parade up the mountain. After that, its on you to remember where all the corners are.

If you're scared, you're driving over your head and going too fast. You drive at a pace that you feel comfortable with. (Although, you wont be winning any races with that attitude)

There are a bunch in PA that are huge. It can't be too far from you.

sigh........so jealous......

You arent that far. You should come up to Okemo on the 10th and 11th. You should come up just to watch, its the best hillclimb event of the year, from a spectating point of view.

the sound of h22 vtec  ... any more vid's?

No, sorry. I'll get some in car footage at the next one. And hopefully someone will post my launch. The 2 step launch control on my car is nasty.

There are so many opportunities to get on the track or on the mountain each summer. The only road block you'll find is yourself.

Doing a track day in your own car is the absolute best way to get better at driving and safely find out where the limits are.
