i know he's ur friend and all but it sounds like he brought it on himself ...
if hes breaking up w/ her every other day, than he needs to realize that no matter how 'attractive' or 'great of a personality' she may have, hes gonna end up losing out in the end. tho it may be hard, he needs to move on w/ someone that can watch rated-R movies on her own and can straighten his @$$ out a little bit. let him stay in the clink and he'll realize the error in his ways...

I really don't like even associating myself with people like that, ones that are always flaking on their commitment to their significant other.
Like either break up or don't, you're living a lie by perpetuating the "broken up this week/back together next week" scenario.
Don't bring that **** into other people's lives too or they'll stop caring about your problems all together through seeing how little you can commit.
You think it can't happen, but it actually happens really fast depending on how much whining you can put up with.
