So after searching around the forums a bit I came to the conclusion that all you need to do is take off the rear wheels and hammer out the stock studs then put the new studs in and torque them down with your lug nuts. Is this true? I have drums in the rear BTW.

No.

Take off wheel. Make sure e brake is down. Take drum cover off. Hammer out at so the studs come out without damaging thw inner components of the drums.

Youre gonna need to take out the wheel bearing if youre gonna install extended studs in the rears.

I see. So no one's done a DIY of this? I couldn't find one while searching. Pretty new to this stuff so I'm afraid of screwing up lol.

Here is what I did.

Follow those steps i used...

When taking out the old studs, avoid hitting it where the springs and retainers are because it might damage your drums. After hitting them out, I used a tool that my cousin uses to straighten out bent frames, you can improvise on how to get the wheel bearing out. After it is out, put your extended studs on, they aren't gonna tighten all the way, tighten them as much as you can. Put the wheel bearing back on and this is where you gotta use your lugnuts and 19mm socket does the rest of the tightening, do not use an impact gun, it will strip the insides of the lugnut.

Put it back after it is tighten all the way and there you have it.

Thanks man. Very helpful. I'll give it a shot when I get my spacers.

Yeah but at 15mm I would need to cut my stock studs and eventually I would have to replace the studs anyways if I got new wheels with better offset.

what kind of wheels are you trying to put on? if the wheels have cutouts on the back of the hub, between the bolt holes, the adapter style spacer will work fine. or if they're multi lug pattern (8 or 10 holes) they should work too...i say should because i don't know for sure. just as long as the multi pattern is still the same number of holes, like a 4x114.3 and 4x100 wheel. a 4/5x114.3 wouldn't work with the adapter style spacer.

Oh yeah I completely forgot to check that. They're single lug pattern 4x114.3 but I'll have to take off my wheel and see if it has the cutouts. Thanks.
