be like it is
rear speaker-less for 5 years.

the only thing i'd put speakers in back for:
-experimenting with a L-R midbass array
-if i cared about/had rear passengers :lawl:

Thanks everyone for the input/opinion.
@eggyhustles: No they are not connected to an amp.

i'm selling my subs box and amp tomorrow :(
first time in 2 years without basssss. but then i can get components and an amp and perfect my mids/highs, then my lows next summer.
oh and i'll run my components from the amp, and 6x9s from the headunit till i get subs again, then they will be removed

i'm not quite sure how a setup would sound with just 6.5's up front and a subwoofer. i know people always run components up front, amplify them, run no speakers in back, and have a sub. it really depends if you care about your back seat passengers

lmaooo who care bout ur back seat passengers now a days lol...i have 4 10' Evs on the back deck lol nd 2 12'kickers L7 nd up front i have 8'beymas on the doors...now i kno people hear me from mah blocks away.....Loud Clear Music FTW!!!! Oh Yeahh

You have to decide what you personally prefer better. Some people enjoy running just the components up front while others enjoy running the front coaxial and rears.

I personally just purchased those Polk Audio's as well. I'm going to run them on a JL Audio J2 320.4 amplifier. To really enjoy these speakers you have to run an amp.

The difference with the two speakers is that the music is produced in 2.0 or 2.1 not 4.0 or 4.1 quality. Thus the front component speakers would be more natural. However some people enjoy running the rears as well which is totally fine. Personally, I cannot hear the fraction of a millisecond delay you get with rears so I have no issues with choosing fronts and rears.
