Speedometer Problem

I've noticed this on a lot of Honda cars in general. Our '00 Ody was similar, though not nearly as bad. My Accord is off about 5-7mph at higher speeds and my former 02 Civic was off about 2-3 mph at higher speeds as well. I'll have to check our CR-V and Pilot sometime and see how they compare.

Checked the CR-V today, spot on @ 50mph.

3 grand @ 80mph for me. Something is very inaccurate,and I bet it isn't your tachometer or your GPS.

yea mine is 10 mph off, but thats because i put in indiglow gauges on. is ithere a way to fix the needles? like go at a constant speed and put it on cruise and then take out the needle and place it on the correct speed??

i ran into the same problem, speedometer and tachometer were off. i wound up sending the entire cluster in to get repaired, waiting for it to come back. i'll let you know what happens, in case your interested
