Awesome! I definitely want to complete my H22 project if possible. Given that I'll register it again this year I will also paint all the carbon fiber to be even more low key.

6 rejections for today. 14 shops left to try. At 20 failures one of two things will happen:

1.buying a V6 and doing a 6 speed swap.
2.buying an S2000.

JDM motor, 49 state cat, Hondata, header, V2 intake is powdercoated and therefore the sticker is gone. It's pretty obvious this car can't go on the rollers.

I'm so annoyed at Calif. gov. right now. The budget is a mess, debates are rampant on whether this is a failed state. I'm willing to spend $400 to run this car for 2 years, which still has a decent Cat and a sharp AFR.

I've seen quite a few S2000 on the freeway, my mind wonders.

If you were referring to 20 fails, I made 6 trips so far to smgo stations. Half the owners I talked to at lenght, half looked like they've seen a ghost.

Sure. It doesn't help that they tightened the knot considerably since. I had a few contacts, all busted now before I got to use them.

i heard the V6 engine bays are 2-4 inches larger towards the firewall. i might be wrong

I got negative rep for suggesting something similar regarding the room between the shock towers, based on what I read in a car magazine once. So I did a lot of online research, and found that in the 5thgen Accord, the V6 cars do have a longer engine bay.

However, unless someone has actually measured off engine bays on 4 cyl and V6 6thgens side by side and knows different, as far as I know, the 4 cyl and V6 engine bays are identical in their major dimensions.

With that said, the only way I would do a V6 swap into a 4 cyl body is if I had a V6 car with a bent body and a straight 4cyl body, because doing it any other way would be prohibitively expensive.

I still believe that the best legit route to more power for a 4 cyl car is a K swap, and how I wish Hasport would make some mounts for our cars.

You are right, this only applies to 5th gen Accords.

I would have spent considerable amounts of money and time swapping all to a V6. The K series swap is for someone that has the skills, time and money to just about quadruple my H22 build budget. Anyway I pulled the trigger on an S2000, I'm very happy to say the least. :naughtyrun:
