Hey guys been looking to do an aftermarket sway bar for some time. I picked up the newest issue of honda tuning and I came across a article that having a stiff suspension setup with thicker sway bars will make the car have flatter cornering capabilities but will also make the car some what twitchy at track speeds (on the straights). A proper track spoiler will fix this. Has anyone else heard of this? I have a 02 coupe can anyone recommend a size that would be the best of both worlds? I was considering the progress bar but now I'm not sure! Any advice? Preferably from anyone who has maybe tracked their car at a road course?

None of this even comes close to falling into "Track Stiff". Do you even have aftermarket suspension?

Just get the Progress RSB.

Assuming you actually plan to track an Accord, you will have many larger concerns thans twitchy steering on the straights. (Which a sway bar will not cause)

How would stiffening suspension cause a car to become more twitchy, on a straight no less.

Oh wait, it wouldn't.

The only thing that could cause that would be a poorly maintained track surface, which the car would be responding to...but most tracks are kept up extremely well since they're used constantly.

Front toe out can produce this effect.

I swapped out my rear sway bar for a 01 CL-S. Can't say I notice any difference although I don't push the car too hard.

up sizing the RSB is more for those that do the "spirited" driving. if you just drive your car, you're not gonna really notice anything.

CL-S bar is 3mm bigger than your V6 sedan bar...you should notice some difference. When I went from the stock 17mm bar to a 3G TL bar (20mm), it was night and day.
