(the RX-8 knobs are chrome at the bottom, but that picture doesn't do it justice...search around for RX-8 interior pics to give you a better idea)

Is there a difference between the year models? I searched for the RX-8 ones and this is the one that keeps showing up:

I like the one in your picture a lot more. Also, what car is the first knob from? Or is that the actual chrome knob? J/W, what knobs did you end up going with since were searching for alternatives? TIA.

I have every knob made for the 6th gen coupe along with several others

And yes I can restore them to almost new condition ( not sure if selling yet)

Currently I'm rocking Black Anodized ones I had a shop make for me online. Still in talk so that they can make them compatible with the 98-00 and 01-02 interiors without having to do any modification ( i had to trim a bit of plastic so the knob would glide smoothly)

Yup I agree with your taste

Maybe during spring break I can talk with the guy about the knobs again, but it sounds like its going to be expensive makes ones that extend the rear center base ( that holds the knob down) so that you don't have to trim any plastic off.
