My car is on transmission number 4.... 1. OEM 2. Rebuilt 3. Rebuilt 4. Jasper remanufactured.....it's amazing...warranty is teh $hit as well..

new ones a manual so im good so far

110k going to 111k, original tranny v6

as long as i give it time to warm up in the mornings i have no issues *knock on wood*

then again i dont do the whole shifting my automatic thing so maybe thats why mines still in one piece... lol.

Please put how many miles you had on it when it went out. Those of us on our first trans are wonderering how much time we have before the big day. A couple of coworkers had their trans go out:
02 VP with 40K miles - out of warranty but Honda paid for a rebuilt swap
01 V6 with 100K miles - rebuilt swap paid by Honda's ext trans warranty

honestly i think if you are at 100k or around and nothing bad has happened yet, you should be ok as long as you change your tranny fluid at the recommended intervals and dont drive it like you stole it 24/7

I'm hitting 135k on original tranny, and it's been bad for years but i'm holding out to do a 5speed swap which should be pretty soon now....

bought the car at 113K , started showing signs of tranny wear at 114/115, drove it while it was Messed up for about 25K miles, 1st gear finally gave up, and then i knew someone in honda, that got me a warranty job, and a 3year warranty.

i had my tranny rebuilt at 95k miles...doin a manual swap soon cause rebuilt one is starting to go bad as well. in order to avoid slippage in shifting i have to warm up the freakin car everytime before i take off which i hate doing when im in a effin hurry.
