Hey guys. As some of you may remember, I was pulled over by a motorcycle cop. Recap: Not knowing why I got pulled over, he asked if he can check under my hood I said OK because I honestly thought I didn't have anything illegal. HE found a breather filter, so then I got the modified emissions ticket. While he was righting up the ticket, he was making jokes with the other cop about how quick he ended the chase? As if I was trying to run away from him. Anyways, long story short. I decided to fight this by Trial By Declaration. What this is, it's basically where you can fight your case in a written form so you would not have to go to a real trial.
Turns out i was "acquitted"
I think this means that I am not guilty?
So does this mean that I don't I can stop paying for the $387.00 that I owe due to the ticket?
Any advice would be great.
