I've spent a couple of years pondering the "California legal performance question" and I have reached the inescapable conclusion that the only legal way to get more power out of a 4 cylinder 6th gen accord is to swap the engine, trans, ECU, wiring and linkages out of a TSX. Hasport now makes K swap mounts for the 5th gen Accord. If they start making mounts for the 6th gen, then the thing to do is start hanging around the insurance auctions looking for a T-boned or rear ended TSX, and get your 200 hp that way.

The referee stations seem to approve the swap if you have documentation for the car you got the engine out of, showing it is California legal, so that's the way to go.

i was just thinking the thing a few nights ago. A K swap would be complient along with the ecu and emissions equitment since the law states the engine must be from a the same car or a newer one in pretty sure. Sucks there is no motor mounts wonder how much it would cost to have the fabed up. Also be cool since a k series has way better aftermarket support
