throttle response mod

I was going through some posts on accordtuner.com and one member quoted
"Try to adjust your Throttle Cable so there's less slack. You'll notice the difference. I know you have a F23A1 but just FYI, I made a custom TB cable bracket for my H22 and man, huge difference since accords have longer tb cable while prelude's are shorter. "
So i was wondering if anyone has more info about this mod...if any bracket is available for our f23's...

You're not actually increasing throttle response, you're just tightening the throttle cable so that it appears to have more throttle response. Get a larger throttle body and port/polish the intake manifold/head so that it flows more air and you'll get more throttle response.

Oh, and that guy is a retard.

i actually did that to mine and there is no delay when you hit the gas... :ownedrun:

yah there is no HUGE difference.. just no delay with response.. im happy that i did it.. took only 2min lol... +25HP

you just tighten up the slack on the throttle cable. i did this when i first bought the car. just makes the pedal like 1mm more responsive
