Wouldn't a stretch tire show more of the lip of the rim though?

That's kinda the whole point.

225 for the 9in and 215 for the 8in? Vince? Sidewall? I'm just kinda researching right now, nothing set in stone. If it matters, offset on the wheels is +32, thats for the 16x9 and 16x8.

No. Like CG2_Mang stated, 215 for the 9" and 205 for the 8". I have 225 on my 8" and it stretches a lil bit but not like how you want it. My tires( and most tires) have rim protectors on them and its stretched to the point where the rim protectors arent there. On my 7.5" Enkei's it was perfectly fine.

As for side wall, you need a bigger one to compensate for the stretch. 45 or 50 should be ok.

Tire stretchin was started by the VDub's if im not mistaken. Now all the dorifto guys are into it. I believe we had this convo before Greg.

+32 Greg? What rims are these? Are they they ones you've always wanted? The Advans?
