What's up , I've been debating what to do to my accord for some power. I've thought about Turboing my f23 but with the money I have in that I can put a little more money into a swap. I have made up my mind and I'm going to do a v6 swap. I want to put the 2007 Acura TL Type S v6(j35a8) but I don't know if that tranny will work or if its front wheel drive. If you guys have any sugestions on what other powerfull v6's that I can put in it please let me know. BTW I'm only puting a 6sp tranny in it. Thanks!

i would go with a j32a4 04-06 Acura TL motor, there's a couple people on here with this swap and maybe they can help you out if you decide to go this route

It's FWD, for sure.

And more than a couple people have done the J32 swap. Id say its up to....a dozen or so?? Hell, Im helping do one this weekend. It's easier than doing the J35. And if you want even more out of the J32, toss on a CompTech sucpercharger.

Cool man , thanks. I really want what IcyAccord had. Or something of that kind. What do I need for the J32 ? Is it direct fit?

I cant tell you. I believe so, but there's a lot involved. And swapping the tranny with it would be a good idea as I dont think it'd mate to the f23 5-spd and the J30 auto definitely wont handle the J32. So either auto J32 or 6spd, either way.

Not many people have done it, so there's a reason. Be it money, difficulty or both.

Search, bro. I dont know that there are write-ups, but there are plenty of people who have done it who'd be willing to answer.

On here, not sure. There's one occassioanlly. I'd start with local junkyards, newspapers and craigslist.

Do not remove an f23 and try to swap a j32. It would cost a huge amount of money. It would be a lot different if you already have a v6 accord but your car is made for a 4cyl. If you want to do a swap swap a 4cyl like the h22 or build your f23.
