warped head or crack, who knows, have to send it to the machine shop to see what it would be. The thing with the heater was that it would overheat, but when the heat was on full blast it was blowing cold air, and the temp wasn't dropping. The coolant overflow tank was bone dry, which means it was losing coolant somewhere. The question is where. We pressure tested it, nothing. Spark plugs, nothing. Oil from what we can see, nothing (true test will be tomorrow). Worst case scenario is that its getting into the head some how. The coolant has to be going somewhere, because its not leaking and its not burning, hence no smoke.

zero-defect, I'm stumped as well, but thinking positive, when i heard 2g's plus i almost had a heart attack. :madrun:

I had a Mopar a loooong time ago with a bad head gasket. The oil was fine too like yours, and the exhaust seemed normal. But it was blowing exhaust into the antifreeze and the bubbles would congregate near the thermostat. The gas/bubbles kept the t'stat from working properly so it would overheat like crazy 'til the t'stat finally opened and the temp gauge needle would drop.

Does yours stay hot, or does it drop back down again? No doubt they're different designs, but that's the first thing that came to mind.

okay so i got my oil changed today, they were looking for a milky substance in it, thats what would happen if coolant was leaking, and after all that, they still found nothing. This is getting to the point to where even the techs are stumped.

Flush the old coolant and put some new stuff in it. Make sure theres no air in it.
