my rev limiter was bouncing like crazy :)

jk, it is a photoshop. i knew blacknight had done it, so i thought i might
get some believers.

here's what it went through:

pic of the gauges (car off, sitting in the driveway)

redlined the tach and topped out the speedo:

trimmed it down, adjusted the temp gauge, and did a little more blending:

can't believe i forgot about the odometer though! i doubt i will ever get going
that fast, not worth the risk (crash and/or lose license), and i don't think there's enough straight, open road around me.

oh its worth it...trust me its worth it. ":For those 10 seconds or less, you feel free" LOL

But seriously .... it is something you want to do in a car equipped to do so. I think my suspension / tires are quite capable of safety at those speeds, although there is still risk of course

well, takes me about 10sec to get to 80mph, and then 10 more to get to 100mph:

so i think 150mph would take a good minute or more.

my car doesn't have quite the power yours does :D

my tires have a "w" speed rating. so that means i can go 168mph, right? :)

once i'm dropped i might feel better at that speed, but going that fast is just asking for trouble if you get caught, cause there's really no excuse ;)
