So today I decided to check my fluids since im due for a oil change. Oil was great but my transmission had not a drip of tranny fluid, bone dry. So my question is this do i get my tranny serviced or do i just drive it without any fluid in it forever? Mind you it shifts perfect but does the usual kick putting it into drive. I have found in the past on previous cars that transmissions do not like to be bothered with:icon_axe: if they are working fine and doing their job. I have no job right now, so if my tranny fails im going to be sooooo screwed that it wont even funny.:ughrun: Anybody have any ideas?

Thats my problem I added fluid to my old car and within 1 hour my tranny blew up out of no where. I remember checking it in the past and it had some in there but that was a few months ago. leak maybe?

Park your car in a flat surface, switch through all the gears P-R-N-D-D3-D2-D1 and back to Park and turn the car off. Check the tranny fluid dipstick again...does it still show no level of fluid???
If so i'd say you really need to add some and figure out where the fluid went lol

I used eHows method for checking my tranny fluid, and after already buying some fluid from honda. eHows says to keep the car running while checking the fluid and it turns out my fluid and it appeared right on the dip stick on target. Thank you everyone for your help:thumbsup:
