tranny problems

hi, this pass week i was going to Houston from San Antonio for thanksgiving, i was about 65-75 mph when i lost power, like if the car was in neutral, but when i put it to D3 it would go like if there was no problem but as soon i put it back to D4 for it would do it again. in the city it my daily. if someone can help me please thanks n god bless

But a solenoid? I think.
A shifter cable?

Spend a little time searching the site, there are so many of these threads and you will find more info than you want to know.

When was the last time u changed ur trans fluid?

Use a code reader and check for tranny codes(some of them do not illuminate the CEL).
Perform a drain and refill with ATFDW1 if you haven't in the past 12 months.

Has anything else happened prior to the issue occurring?
Has the tranny lately been shifting hard when going into 2nd or 3rd?
