transmission fluid check

i did search and i couldnt find anything all i found was for the 98-00 theres a dipstick, but for the 01-02 there isnt theres just a fill bolt. so i dont know what to do :skurred:

Nope. 02 coupe here. I definitely have and have recently seen my yellow looped dipstick on the right side of the engine.

this thread is a waste of space...

theres plenty of things you could have done instead. 1st instinct would tell me to chech the owners manual. if not there search GOOGLE.

Who says u need to check when the car is warm?? u can do it cold or hot. Only when u do a service should u check it hot

Yes, your car has a dipstick. You can see it in the photo, between the positive battery cable and coolant hoses. You can see the yellow handle and follow the stick down into the receiving pipe...

If you don't see a yellow loop handle in your bay, your dipstick may be missing. Or maybe it was replaced with another dipstick. But you should have one.

Don't let someone with a username like 'imaricer' discourage you from asking questions.

You should check your transmission fluid levels when the car is running, that is what mechanics have recommended. It gives a more accurate reading.

Also, don't flush the tranny, just change the fluid as recommended.

It's also encouraged that you should do a search on here for what your question might be, before you post. For future reference.
