    Ah buuut...you can swap for the H22 tranny. Who knows, might be able to swap the gears out of the F23.

    All H-series and F-series trans are completely interchangeable. Any manufacturer that lists a transmission/clutch/flywheel part for the 90-97 accord is just ignorant of that fact. Its more like 90-02 Accord and 93-whenever they stopped making preludes (02?), excluding the SH. Well I know because I'm rocking the M2S4 trans on my car right now with no custom mounts, fab work, or anything. I wouldn't even be worried about the KAAZ that lists 90-97 SIR, that's just the vehicle they had in mind, but they don't reseach all the crossover.

    Once I am putting some power to the wheels, I will definitely be looking into that AMC Helical LSD. I would want to know that its not the same unit as the OBX before I spend the extra $200. I doubt it is though. Cool to find there are less expensive options besides Quaife, which I believe is $1100+. I remember a while ago they had a unit for the 90-97. You know what happened was the engine changed to F23 and all the companies assumed there was a change to the bell-housing or clutch size and didn't bother to investigate.

    This could be wrong. I know it's true for the flwyheels and clutches being all interchangeable, but I don't know if that holds true for an LSD.

    Does the LSD mate with the final drive gear? So any that are made for the H22 are compatible with the 4.266 FD?

    If that were the case one would expect the 90-97 to work with the F23 trans bc I believe they have the same 4.066 FD. Something close to that don't feel like looking it up right now.

    I'm trying to think what would make it not fit, and why Quaife and now OBX have them both listed as 90-97.

    That would be good for me because my H23 trans has the same FD and I could use one of those.

    Well quaife lists the F22, H23, and H22 trans as using the same part on their site.

    I have a stock F23 trans in my garage I guess I could see if it still has a trans code left on it somewhere.

    Compare those for the 5th to what Blacknight posted as the F23's stock ratios;

    Transmission gear ratio (1st) 3.29
    Transmission gear ratio (2nd) 1.81
    Transmission gear ratio (3rd) 1.19
    Transmission gear ratio (4th) .90
    Transmission gear ratio (5th) .69
    Transmission gear ratio (reverse) 3.00
