Hey everyone, I tried searching the forum but found no result, does anyone have a DIY on replacing the transmission solenoids? Also, does anyone have a DIY on replacing or cleaning the IACV? This is all for a 2000 Honda Accord Coupe V6.
Thanks!

If the solenoids are anything like the 4cyl ones, there's probably a bunch of stuff in the way or covering them. Think it's like 3 10mm or 12mm bolts on all of them and a plug.

I changed two once thinking that was the problem and that's all I did. Unplug, unbolt, replace, start car. Just make sure you don't wrench on them too hard screwing them back in. It's probably only like 8lb/ft if that to torque them down.

Pretty easy when I did it but it was a pain getting to the bolts, had to take some stuff out just to get in there and it was still a little difficult to get the wrench on there.
Also don't use an open ended wrench, it'll most likely round the bolt, use the closed end.

So did you have to take out the air filter box and the battery plate to get to one? And the other one was by a radiator hose?
