Not much of a DIY , but Here's a couple of pics from my experience with this stuff. LMK if you have any questions.

And now the close-up. This is the seam at the drivers side door.
The lower part of the drivers door.
The 1/4 window corner. I couldve done a better job but i just got lazy.
You can see where I kind of missed on the passenger door and its pretty noticeabe as the silver shines through.
Passenger side quarter window, pretty smooth
Tons of airbubbles form when you apply it but i went back with a needle on a hot day and popped the bubbles and it wound up looking this smooth ^. It took 2 rolls of the tape btw.
