I didn't start this thread and I'm not trying to take over either but I'm going the turbo route also. I"m going to do it using the the G23 setup. I'm not too sure how reliable the g23 swap is and once i go boost how much better it would be either. I"ve had my accord since 01, in 06 it got sent to be build and never got done right. now i got it back in 2011!!! i will never sell her lol.. i wanna boost a g23 as a reliable daily. A good tune is the most important thing right? what do you have to worry about the most in maintaining a boosted car?
Just change your oil every 3k miles. It should be no different than a stock car if done right. Evos and STIs don't require any crazy maintenance.
And yes a good tune is crucial. As long as everything is sound mechanically, you need some way of controlling the engine, which is where the tune comes in. How much fuel and ignition timing need to be applied to the motor depending on load and rpm.
