That's what you get for buying a set of half-*** projectors and not spending the money to do it right with retrofits.

Dude your comment has nothing to do with helping the guy with the problem. You should have a little more courteous attitude with people and the admins....for your own sake.

You wanna bark up that tree Raymond? You know people would like you around here if you weren't such a smart *** kid. Keep it up with me and you won't be logging on here ever again.

i think oem reflectors with hids is better than tyc with hids. if u like them then its ur decision and u have to face the challenges and problems like the reviews mentioned.
OEM reflectors are not better, for me anyway. Cops are cracking down around here for HID and I've been stopped a few times already. I don't want to go back to Halogen simply because the output just isn't there. Which is why I choose TYC's with HID for now, till I can get around to putting some Valeos or TSX's in them.
they're not that bad....
????? They're pretty bad man. These pictures do not do it justice at all. The hot spots are so ridiculously different between the two beam, and the rotation (which is not adjustable).
mine was never like tht.... seems like the shrouds are messed up for it to be tilting the way it does :eh:
I don't know but they're jacked up.

Well I pulled the bulb out several times, and it looks like it only goes in one way, since the base has a flat spot like below.

wierd....my TYC came with a different set of bulbs. Have you tried using another set of H1 bulbs or adjusting the actual low beam housing by turning it clockwise or counter-clockwise. That or Shipping couldv'e shaken it pretty badly.

Well I also noticed with these TYC's they don't have a black plastic cover on the back, it's rubber boots that slip over. Do you mean turn the projector itself? Cause I worked the adjustment screws to max every way and it doesn't fix it.

maybe something happend to the inside of them I would try to take them apart and see whats up. maybe the adjustment screws were messed up somehow. mine aren't that bad but they wern't quite perfect. I think its because someone hit my front end though so my housings wernt lining up perfectly.

Wierd, mine had hard black plastic case in the back.

I heard valeo are a direct fit if you are wanting to put some real projectors in there. IMO, i think that would be the way to go.

Darryl, IIRC there was someone else on here a while back that had the same problem and I think they actually had to twist the projectors to get the cutoff level.

I'm going to try and find the thread......

I'll snap a picture of the back of the TYC's I got. Also I'm not trying to swap anything, or open them up at all right now cause these were taken in trade for my OEM's which I have not shipped out yet because I wanted to make sure the TYC's worked right which they don't. BRB with the picture.
