Re: *UPDATE 7/17/14 NEW PICS!!!* Blackhawks' 2K1 Accord Coupe EX-L (56k)

Just ordered my front/rear led turn signals. Once they come in I will pick up a Novita EP34 and then install them and make an update. Look for my blackhousing project to come sometime in August since I will be away the first week of the month and am busy with other stuff at the moment!

Hey, thanks for the comment! The rear emblem is meant to fit the 03 civics but it fit fine. I just cut off the back pins (not all have them) and used the tape already on the back stick in on. As for the front, it was a universal fit with a universal size.
The back size is 3.6"x3" and the front is 3"x2.5"

Re: *UPDATE 7/17/14 NEW PICS!!!* Blackhawks' 2K1 Accord Coupe EX-L (56k)

Sad news guys, this is something that is probably the worst obstacle I've faced within the 1 1/2 years I've owned this car. A few weeks ago, my CEL came on with the P0740 code (TCC Solenoid in transmission). I brought it to my mechanic who said he would look for the part, and it took him forever to the point where I was losing confidence that this would be resolved. Until I got my oil changed on Monday the 13th, when they referred me to a transmission shop to take a look at my CEL code and car. I received my car back today after they took a look and am sad to say that the transmission (like so many other cars have) has failed. Now I don't know if these guys are just trying to get business and want the big repair done by them, or the TCC solenoid is a decently priced fix, I won't know for a while but as of now I'm labeling the car's transmission as a failure. For those who are ready to say, do a 5 speed swap, the answer is no. I don't have enough funds for that and even though I don't even have the money for the original repair, my folks are making it get fixed so I have no choice. It's hard to think that I wanted to sell this thing with all the problems I've had but this is just a little update to let you guys know where I stand. Hopefully this gets fixed as soon as possible, but I'll see where it goes from here.

Hey thanks man, appreciate it. Today's just been a real bum day and when I got that phone call it just made it worse. I got a quoted price of $2100 to get a full rebuild and it'll take about 1-3 days so hopefully that gets done ASAP. But thanks again.

$2100? That's ridiculous. Might as well buy a new accord. Best of luck with whatever ends up happening

It ****ing sucks cuz my parents won't allow to do a 5 spd swap. So I'm stuck overpaying for another autotragic.
