Re: UPDATED Painting Interior trim..

2000 will work but it'll take a while, i used 1000 but then again i made sure i sprayed on a heavy *** coat of clear so that when i sanded, i'd still have plenty of clear left because unfortunatly i had to redo one of my piece because the clear was so thin, its started sanding the paint and primer layers and by the time i realized, i was back down to woodgrain in one corner :(

yea the little spots or specson the top left of the cup holder is from an air freshener that leaked out. i guess it was corrosive or acidic or something cuz it ate though the plastic and i tried to sand it all out until it was all leveled but it i couldnt. but as you can see in the first picture its barely notice able, it depends on the angle that you look at it.

yea i tihnk it was either this forum or v6p but its the guy that did like a supra tail light conversion and he painted his interior pieces blue and it looked pretty good on the tan interior but i cant find that thread.

now moving up to the front to take care of those...
the drivers piece is a little more difficult to get out than the other pieces due to more buttons but mainly just the mirror adujustment piece...
