I work for a UPS store. Which is not part of UPS. Almost every UPS package has guaranteed a delivery date. I have only seen like 2 shipments that were not guaranteed before.
UPS coast to coast + thanksgiving.....?

UPS only guarantees delivery times on 3 day shipping/2nd day and overnight shipping services.,,,anything more then that is not guarantee ..and those are the only 3 shipment services that they will give refund too if it take more then it expected to be...i only got 4 refund soo far from them and all of it is overnight shipping since they went over 1-5 mins late since they give me a time it should be there..

UPS guarantees on-schedule delivery of UPS Guaranteed Ground Service packages to every address in the 48 contiguous United States. In the event the carrier fails to complete delivery or attempt delivery by the end of the scheduled delivery day as published on www.ups.com.
Thats just the gist of it

USPS can be just as bad. I had a part ordered from Parts Express that they shipped on the 18th from Ohio, not even as far away as CA. Somehow it took until today for a simple small package that fits in a mailbox to get here. So the moral is, don't expect it unless you're picking it up yourself lol.
