So on the first day of school I go into my geology class, I come outside for the 10 minute break right before lab to find my accord has been raped in the face. The same day I was driving home and I got my first crack in the windshield. A week later on my way to my algebra class my engine overheats, I stop on the freeway to learn there was no water in my radiator, my girlfriend stops by autozone to grab me antifreeze. I fill up the radiator and head to class, when i turn the car off I noticed the engine was still running, I pop the hood and notice like a quart of water fall out of my cold air intake. Then She shuts off. Since then I hit up a few junkyards and I've found my new engine. Heres some background info on gabby, I bought her feb 2010, front end collision and bad engine. Previous owner fixed the body but refused to fix the engine. I hit up a junkyard and found a 3.0 out of a 01 with 130k on it for $250, I but it and she has been good for the past 60k, transmission went bad at 198k so I had it rebuilt. At 204k the engine went bad, I found an engine with 40k at a junkyard for 300, installation should be complete by tomorrow.
I want a new face after the new engine is put in, I'm thinking either a bra or a new bumper but havnt decided what generation. Who's got suggestions?
