So I took a peek under the right front wheel, and gee what do I find:

What does this mean. Do you guys recommend upgrading and buying a new sway bar? If so, would a 99+ TL front sway fit to replace mine?
Or should I just buy a new linkage?

ANy particular reason why I shouldn't buy a kit for 99 TL front and rear sway bars? Or I just shouldn't purchase the front sway alone? I know I'll need the rear sway eventually for stabilization so..

cuz upgrading both wont do anything for the handling other then stiffen things up. upgrading just the rear will reduce the understeer of the car and give you better handling......once you lower that beast, haha.

you dont even need a new front sway. just cuz its got a little rust on it doesnt mean anything. just a new endlink is all i would do.

Ok guys, so I got the endlink replaced with a MOOG model, and it looks pretty solid. The next round of problems arises... Now I get this very noticeable pull to the right ONLY when I step on the accelerator. Cruising, no pull, but when I WOT, then it pulls markedly to the right. Any ideas or suggestions about wtf is doing this?? Do you think I need to replace the opposite linkage with one identical, to balance it out? Would it make a difference?

Please help me out fellas.

sounds like a difference in tire wear to me...

Well I have been driving ONLY around town with the busted linkage for like 4 days. I drove very slowly and carefully the whole time, so as now to cause any damage. And before the linkage broke, there was no pull, and after it broke, during those 4 days, there was no pull. So what do you think the deal is. I mean this problem did not exist last week.. I don't know how it's possible for wear like that to occur. I know what you mean though, I had that problem on my 16"s in Maine - but that would pull all the time, since I drove around on poor alignment for half a year. This is weird to me..

ok i take it back about the tire wear...

when you floor it...esp if you aren't dropped...your front end raises right?...maybe the side where yoou just replaced the endlink isn't raising as much as the other side...i dunno just a theory..but check ur other endlink
