damn that tiptronic shifter mod looks cool, i wanna do that too. too bad u still cant shift gears on an auto

Do you know where I can find a DIY for the TL-Tiptronic shifter? Do you think itll work on my 4cyl auto? And whenever you upgrade your TSX retrofit to the FX bixenons, let me know. I'll purchase them off of you. thank you for you time.

There's a DIY for the shifter over on v6p.net...I think I posted a link somewhere above this post. As for the TSX retros...you don't want them...the passenger side reflector is broken in half (ie. high beam and low beam sections are completely separated). If they were still in good condition I'd sell them to you...but it got messed up in my accident...and has only gotten worse since then.

did anyone ever figure out the shifter dust boot/shield thingy clearance issue? this is whats stopping me from doing it...i want to do this for its look without a boot...id only put the boot on the stock shifter after modding it. theres an rl knob sitting here that needs to find its way onto the car somehow, but i havent decided which route to take

There's no way around it if you want to keep the stock sliding dust cover. Originally I had planned on taking my cup holder to a custom fab shop and having them cut out the front cup holder to where it's just a hole. Then cover the front of the back cupholder to isolate it...then just covering the top of the cupholder where the front one used to be. (yea...hard to follow). Basically...make it into 1 cup holder instead of 2...and make it look clean. But that was gonna cost me like $300 in itself...maybe more...and that was WAY more than throwing a boot on it and freaking everyone out when they can't find the clutch on my car =D

love the ride. you should have put some shrouds on the projectors. i think they are a little dark for your theme/setup.

I did...they're E46 shrouds...and I painted them black because the chrome made it look bug eyed. I was going for the darker look up front. I'm gonna use a different paint for the new headlights...hopefully it'll blend better with the car.
