looking good. but you know your cutoff steps are not supposed to be overlapping right... give this thread a little read...

basically, measure the distance between your projectors on the car, and from 25 feet away, the cutoff steps of each of those projectors should be the same distance apart. and then measure the height of the center of the projector off the floor when on your car, and from 25ft away, the center of the cutoff step should be about 2.5 inchs lower. then you'll have perfect aim.

Agreed. Even when he gets the cutoff steps aligned properly, it looks like both cutoffs aren't level...one's sloping downward slightly while the other is sloping upward slightly. I hope he has rotational adjustability. :(

i plan on mounting mine the same way but for rotational adjustability, instead of just drilling holes in teh back for the bolts to pass through, im going to make them into elongated holes so that i can slide the bolts within the groves to give me a LITTLE rotation, then i can jbweld them in place once perfect.

Yeah, that's not a bad idea, but there are more efficient methods as well. Before completely disassembling the stock headlights, power the bulbs up while they're still in the reflector housings so you can get a baseline for the alignment. Assuming that's correct (99.9% of the housings should be level), if you align your projector retrofit to match the stock level...it should come out perfect. I would have to assume most professional retrofitters do something along these lines since they usually don't have access to align their retrofits through trial & error on the actual cars. If it's level, the recipient can then adjust them horizontally or vertically without having to worry about any rotational problems.

Thanks for the info guys, i figured i had to realign the driver's side anyway.

I demand finished product pics by the end of the weekend!!! The weather should be on your side. Great work though Chido, can't wait to see them in person.

Still scraping the glue off the housing, and yesterday i had to go to a wedding and today i'm putting my boy's coilovers in. So needless to say it's not getting completed this weekend.
