What kind of oil?

I switched to Motorcraft Synth Blend a few oil changes ago after reading good reviews at BITOG. I change it every 6 months (usually average 9K miles/year). $12 for a 5 quart jug at Walmart - cheaper than most big name conventional oils.

I use Mobil 1 Full Synth 5-30 or 5-20.

i use 10w40 cause 5w20 is just too thin for me. but the thing about synthetic is that its sticky. so inside the main bearings where the oil galleries are, they stick to it and seal any sort of space. it also helps preventing wears inside the engine. but the thing about synthetic is that once you go synthetic, you shouldnt go back to regular. just keep that in mind.
