Ah, ok, that makes sense.

As for what I did, I ordered a set of VLED bulbs for the rear sidemarkers, thanks to a suggestion from 'Double R'. Yay, me. Next from them will be a set of Tail/Brake lights.

I got my led bulbs for my reverse and brake lights in today. They're bright but my "Brake Lamp" indicator is lit and my e-brake light stays lit. I think there was a thread to resolve this so i'll read up on it..

Also tried putting the led bulb in the rear indicator socket and no hyper flashing occured.. wonder if that means it won't hyper flash at the front ?

Alex, Jeff(Jephu) had suggested a fix for the hyper flashing by using a resistor or a flasher unit.

If you want the brakelamp warning light off, you need to place load resistors on all brake light leads for which you are using LED bulbs. The E-brake light I’m not sure about why you're getting that.

Weird that you didn’t get hyper flashing, did you install an LED flasher unit in place of the OEM flasher unit?

Thing is ... I don't have hyper flashing when I tested them in the rear indicators, which must mean my flasher unit must be compatible for LEDs too.

@Chris, if thats the case then I may take out the LED brake lights for now until after inspection. And nope, I've never touched my flasher unit.

That is very interesting. That likely has to mean AUS 6GA's received a different flasher unit...

Who knows .. I'll test them in the front and see if they hyper flash, if they don't then I guess I'll be ordering some amber LEDs :D I'll see if I can grab a picture of the flasher unit too.
