Installed the new starter and all that jazz... still doesn't click over. Now I've got to try and find out what's going on. I should have checked the fuzes before I left to go to the library

Yup, the driver side cable stays on the same place, The other one is positioned differently. It also attaches with a bolt and nut compared to the pin that the OEM shifter uses.

Chris, After installing the SS kit and took it out for a test drive I was able to tell the difference in the throw immediately. It glides smoothly between gears and its that much of a pleasure to drive. I can't believe how much of a difference this makes.

I can't compare JTC to the short shifter Pspec used to make. This is my first SS kit but I can tell you that compared to the stock one the difference is night and day.

Installation was a bit of a PITA because trying to remove the top square cover from where the pivot point is on the OE shifter itself. Now that I have done it I can easily do another one because now I know where to impact with the hammer and screw driver to get it loose.

I'm very happy with this SS kit. I'll be re-doing the Mounts/flywheel/clutch and then I'll be able to get the most of the kit.

the biggest pain for me was twisting the thing that holds the shifter cable

^I can’t find one, Tyler. The reason I want to swap the trunk isn’t important enough to spend too much to do it, so I either need to find a trunk for cheap that I can get repainted, or one that is in good enough shape that I can just put right on the car. Haven’t had much luck finding either yet. :(

I wish junkyards took better care of their ****. That's probably an oxymoron.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I think we actually had this conversation before when I said I found full grey leather, except the driver's seat and door panel was ruined because some douche left the door open and it rained. :(

It's like all the stupid people get first dibs in junkyards. They'll take a chain saw to the rear end to pull an emblem or tail light off.

Front lip is the WW for sedan. Doesn't have any side skirts if that's what you were referring to. Might look like the car has aftermarket side skirts probably because of the shadow on the pic. No fender flares*

Gotcha, might have been the shadow with it lowered that threw me off. Very smooth, I like it!

Christopher, are you willing to settle on, say, a black trunk or do you want "SMR or nothing"..?

As for my hooptie, pretty sure it needs EGR work. I was gonna buy just the valve($95) but then the guy at Honda reminded me of the kit that involves removing the plenum and drilling the new hole and putting in a new tube and all that. Oddly, that kit is cheaper than than the valve alone, and it includes the valve. :lawl:

Removing the plenum and drilling that hole, and all that, is WAY more work than I wanted to do, but, it might have to be done.
