Traded it in :(

Whaaaaat...no, this...can't be....

Your coupe was soo nice man, I really liked it a lot. Sorry to see it go but I'm sure you had your reasons. What's next?

Moooooarr!!!:action-smiley-042:

the gold is going to look good, chris. i can't wait to see those wheels on, haha.

Thanks guys, appreciate the interest! Was unsure about the gold Andy, but once I held it up to the red I was relieved.

Waiting on two estimates for all the lip stuff, hope to hear back soon. In the meantime I have the fun task of taking aircraft stripper to the wheel bolts. :ugh:

In other news, washed it.

Cleaned the entire glasses, headlight lenses, and side mirrors w/ RainX 2 in 1 glass cleaner + water repellent, using news papers. :coffee: (Had nothing else to do under this crappy weather in WA...)

@Chris, nice that you wash frequently. Btw, I just figured out how your rims gonna look like... I'd say, "Wow, Very Sick rims!"

Put new Fog lights in today. Plug and play my a!! 7 hours later ended up changing the cabin air filter and oil too. So productive Accord day.

I helped my 8thgen friend picked up a 2001 accord V6 coupe EX-L yesterday for his winter project. Interior is 10/10 like day 1 and seems like nobody ever sat in it before, exterior is 9/10 with few nicks. Tranny is smooth and the car has low mileage at 140,000kms / 87,000miles on it. Car is fully loaded from 6disc cd changer to black leather heated seats and silver interior trim.

Did my retro. Learned some things.

Cracked the left headlamp bucket between the high and low. No epoxy can fix that one. The shrouds were hitting the lens no matter how much i trimmed So i pulled the lamps back apart and ripped out the shroud. The output is massive greater than the original. So, in the spring i may do a re retro.

That flare up is the shield. It doesnt bug me too much and it doesnt hit other drivers.

I think the missing hotspot on the drivers side is because i physically broke the headlight.

I wanted a glow effect for my lamps. so no blackhousing no reflector paint.

I'll try to get new photos once I wash the car and charge the DSLR.

This was a learning experience.

Didn't using newspapers mix ink in with the cleaning solution when they got wet? I've never heard of that...

:seewhatyoudid:

got some coupe headrest for the interior.

Nice upgrade, I did the same thing. I don't actually think they are more comfortable lol, just look cooler.

Yeah, to my knowledge SMR and the charcoal interior were never released together from the factory... do explain!

I am jealous!

It must have been painted. From my understanding only the silver and black coupes got the dark grey interior
