The perfect mentality to have when looking for a car. Honestly id look for the same thing. I got to find a '01 Accord V6 or the '04 TSX i want, i want service history. Not "oh yeah it has some power man".

Tell me how often you washed the car. If it sat out in the sun all day all the time. Did the oil get changed regularly or did it always go over 1-2k before it was changed. Last time gaskets were changed. Brake pads.

It was bought brand new by my uncle in 1998, daily driven, never beaten on (he's not into cars lol) and kept under shelter until 2009, spent 3 years mainly parked on the street, then it was fully repainted as it was fading on the roof and a bit on the trunk lid. It was serviced at whatever interval the service book says by honda and then a well known mechanic after warranty finished. When I got my hands on it a year ago it has been washed at least once a week by hand, never by machine and garaged. Oil has been changed every 5000kms or 6 months. ATF has also been changed (due for another one now), gaskets - I'm not sure but theres no leaks whatsoever anywhere, although I do want to clean my IM so I'd end up replacing most of the gaskets.. Brake pads were changed about 1.5 years ago, I recently checked and they still had at least 50% life left all around.

Overall, the car has never missed a beat. No transmission problems nor is there noticeable rusting. Although my cv boots have a small tear because of being low, lol.

I should've never gone outside.

I come back from lunch with mom
I wash the car. Yay Clean.

I then clay bar it.

I start putting wax on it. The wax starts to dry. And as it's drying, the fking park maintence guy decides to mow the lot next to mine. I almost choked him out.
So out comes the detailer spray to get the wax off as quickly as possible. So next week will be another wash and wax.

Regardless of all my problems today, Discovering someone stole my valve caps, and then the guy who mowed..

It didn't turn out too bad.

So my first time claying, I didn't do too bad. That bar was nasty.
When my headlight shows up this week, it's time to fix that damn retro.

WHAT?!?! Maybe with a ton of miles on it.

I cant find a TSX or TL here for under 10k. The ones that do exist have 200k+ miles.

Haha. Im an expert window shopper. Haha. I check for the best prices. The last 2 TSXs i found had 150-180k on the clock for $6990 at the dealership i got my 01 Accord from. Wish i could get one now.

Thats right. As far as me. I redid my Fugen front lip. Cleaned the car. Gonna use some detail spray on it tomorrow and clean the interior as well.
