I cut most of mine out. I left some of it on the backside where the mudflap is. But it doesn't harm anything when you take it out. The only thing I am worried about is rocks catching in my tires then being slung up in my fender well and putting dents in it.

Only thing I'm worried about is the rare occurrence of that random time you don't see the puddle until it's too late, and water splashes everywhere. Well I don't want all that water to make its way up the hole where my intake resonator used to be, and onto my ballasts and relay harness.

Installed Bosch Evolution wipers which look good on it. My wife and I have been cleaning out the garage so thay I can park my car in it too. It will be nice to not have to scrap ice off the windows. It's first night will be tomorrow.
