Here are a few shots of the JTC SS kit. The second has a red dot which shows more or less where the wire on the right side attaches to the stock shifter. Could be a little higher but I can't remember since I threw the old one away.
On the last pic. you can see that to continue to shorten the shifter there needs to be some cutting done to the actual shifter box. it needs to be trimmed down to allow the shifter itself to be lowered more, otherwise its going to hit against it.
